Text: Psalms 23:5-6 KJV
MESSAGE
The valley is not the final destination, it is the route to an end. The Bible says, surely there is an end and your expectations shall not be cut short. Though the valley is the most trying place anyone can be, we can rest assured that God has a plan not only to take us out of the valley but bring us into a glorious future.
Friends may leave you, families may forsake you but the Lord will take you up. (Psalms 27:10). Never forget that God is with you while going through the valley, you are not alone.
Just as without a test, there is no promotion and not just that, but passing the test is critical. Also without going through the valley, you cannot get to the mountain top. For every child of God, one thing is certain – there is a great destination that awaits them after the valley.
David said in our text of the day that God prepared a table before him after the valley experience. It was a banquet before his enemies. May God give you such royal treatment as well in Jesus name. Amen.
Let us not forget however that this man went through the valley, after being anointed in 1 Samuel 16:13, David spent the best of his life in the valley. He was hiding in caves and dens, he was on the run for many years fleeing from Saul. Thank God who keeps, He kept David through the valley and took him from the valley to the throne. You can be sure that He will keep you also.
After the valley, David had an overflowing anointing, his cup runneth over. He was the only king anointed 3 times. When God brings you out of the valley, your cup runs over. After the valley is great testimonies. What a wonderful God we serve, His plans for us are good and not evil. We must trust Him that He will bring us to our wealthy place.
There is a great future awaiting you, fix your eyes upon Jesus, not on the valley. You are almost there. Do not try to escape the valley, it is the surest passage to the mountain top. After the valley, there are blessings reserved just for you.
REFLECTION
A glorious future awaits you after the valley, so don’t lose hope. May you reach your height in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Good morning and have a great day.
