MESSAGE
God is an all-around specialist, everything He made is very good. Take a look at these lines from the popular Christian hymn:
All things bright and beautiful,
all creatures great and small,
all things wise and wonderful,
the Lord God made them all.
Whatever motive God had to create everything we see today is justified by how perfectly He made them all. Our God is great and mighty. Today we want to display the splendour of His might and the creativity of His person.
My trust is that this will give us a deeper insight into the works of God and to give Him always the deserved glory. Scientists over the ages are still trying to unravel the great mystery of the universe. Such a huge complexity balancing itself is a marvellous thing.
Known unto God are His works from the beginning of the world (Acts 15:18). God in making us and everything was not guessing. He knew exactly where everything ought to be. Everything is tightly fit in Himself, nothing runs outside of His defined law.
In our text of the day, God looking at everything said it was very good. When God says it is good, then good it is. His assessment is final. You can count on His infinite wisdom. You can count on God’s word.
Situations around you may not look so Good making you think everything is a big mistake. This is not what God says to you, He says everything is very good.
God never make mistakes, everything He does is perfect. You are His masterpiece, the wonder of mighty wisdom. Though sin has ravaged humanity, yet to everyone who has come into Christ everything is both new and good (2 Corinthians 5:17).
We have been recreated in Christ Jesus unto every good works. Amid the famine, God promised to satisfy us, He promised to make ways in the wilderness and rivers in the desert (Isaiah 43:19).
Knowing that all God says concerning you and all around you is good, you can smile and sing in the face of the battle. Why not take a cue from the great woman of Shunem in 2 Kings 4:23,26. Though the boy was dead, she said to her husband, “it shall be well”, and to the man of God, ” it is well”. In the end, all was well because she got her son back alive.
Think about the mightiness of God over every of your life challenges. Our God is good and He speaks good things. You can count on His word to you this day and boldly smile telling everyone that all is well.
Again God says to you that everything is good.
REFLECTION
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:28
Because everything God says concerning you is good, you can be sure that everything in creation will work together for your good.
PRAYER
Praise the Lord because everything He has done is good and perfect. Also, thank Him because you know that all things will work together for your good.
