MESSAGE
Has God promised you something and it seems that it is delayed and may never happen again? Beloved, relax because God will visit you soon.
Our God is not a man that would lie nor a son of the man who will repent, as long as He has promised, He is bound by His word to fulfil His promise (Numbers 23:19).
So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
Isaiah 55:11
God will not promise what He can not do. If God tells you He would bless you, you can be sure He will bless you.
In our text of the day, I wondered why the Bible would make such a repetition of God’s fulfilment of His promise to Sarah. God visited Sarah as He had said, and did unto her as He had spoken. I believe this emphasis is to allow us to see the magnitude and weight of God’s word even in our lives. That so long God has said anything, He will do it.
The promise may be delayed, but wait for it because it will surely come to pass, though it looks delayed (Habakkuk 2:3). After many years of delay, God visited Sarah as He has promised. I am praying for everyone reading this message, that the Lord who visited Sarah will visit you today in Jesus’ Name.
Beloved, hold on to God. Do not be agitated, God is committed to His words to you. Just as He remembered Sarah, Elizabeth, Joseph, Mordecai, and many others, He will remember and visit you today.
Will you hold on to God and not fret, would you trust in His everlasting power which can bring you into divine fulfilment of His promise?
You can be sure that God will come on time.
While you wait, do what Abraham did:
And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God.
Romans 4:19-20
REFLECTION
This was the testimony of Solomon concerning God’s fulfilment of His promise to David. You can be certain that your case won’t be an exception. God will fulfil His promises to you.
PRAYER
Father, please grant me the grace and faith to trust you until all your promises for my life and family are fulfilled.
