MESSAGE
The story in our text of the day is another proof of the power in the name of Jesus. Jesus is the master over all principalities and power. Only in His name can anyone possessed of any evil spirit can be delivered.
The enemy is wicked and is set about destroying lives. The Bible says he is come to steal, kill and destroy. The devil has no respect for age or gender, he would go after any life to destroy. The young girl in our text of the day became a victim of devil’s great evil. She became stuck in a life of slavery, men made money off her life and she has no life of her own.
In the gospel of Mark, the Bible told us of a more pathetic story of a man who was possessed by legions of devils. He was so bound by these evil spirits that he went to live in the tombs and would cut his flesh with rocks. No man could tame or calm. But the day he saw Jesus, he was delivered (Mark 5:1-19). Whatever work of the enemy operating in your life is destroyed today in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
In Luke 10:17, when the disciples returned, they rejoiced and told Jesus, even the devils are subject to us in your name. It is very clear that anywhere the name of Jesus is mentioned by a child of God, every demon has to leave. The lady in the text of the day was immediately free by the name of Jesus. It does not matter what sickness or disease the enemy has caused in a life, in the name of Jesus they must flee.
Those who are outside Jesus will continue to be victims in the hands of the devil. The enemy will continue to oppress and put their lives in bondage. Those who have Christ are they who are free indeed. Jesus said, if the Son shall make you free, you are free indeed.
The truth is that only in Jesus is true freedom from the oppression of the devil.
REFLECTION
And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved.

There is great deliverance in the name of Jesus. Run into the name of Jesus and be saved.
PRAYER
Father, let every oppression of the devil in my life and family be destroyed in Jesus’ Name.
