Joy In The Morning

Text: Psalms 30:5 NKJV

Further Reading: Psalms 30:1-12

For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.

Psalms 30:5 NKJV

MESSAGE

After every season of darkness, there is the morning. The morning represents newness and freshness. It is a symbol of hope and confidence that a new day is here.

Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers him from them all. The Bible says that the righteous man cries, and the Lord hears him and delivers him from all his troubles (Psalms 34:17,19). The truth is that the period of the night in man’s life is usually difficult and hard but God’s word is assuring and comforting that Joy comes in the morning.

To the saints who have endured much trouble and it seems as if the devil is winning, do not be afraid because morning is coming. God will turn your mourning into dancing soon. King David said, I sought the Lord and he heard me and he saved me from my fears.

Beloved seek the Lord with all your heart and He will show forth for you. Our God is a God of mercy, though He is angry for a while, his mercy endures forever.

Are you weary and heavy laden, are you cumbered with loads of care? Beloved rest in the Lord because the morning is coming. Simply cast all your cares upon him because he cares for you.

Let the weak say I am strong, and the poor confess that I am rich, because the joy of the Lord is your strength.

REFLECTION

Therefore with joy you will draw water From the wells of salvation.

Isaiah 12:3 NKJV

Beloved, no matter how many years you have endured grief, troubles, and other issues in life, God is bringing you into your new season of joy.

PRAYER

Father, please bring me into a new season of joy today.
