MESSAGE
Often times we allow our problems and difficulty to prevent us from seeing how good God has been. Oh that we would be like the Psalmist who said, I will bless the Lord at all times and His praise shall continually be in my mouth (Psalms 34:1).
Physical, emotional or even spiritual battles may be tense and high, but through it all, the Lord is good. My prayer this morning is that the Lord will open your eyes to see this reality. Amen.
The Bible says that only the living can praise God and that a living dog is better than a dead lion (Ecclesiastes 9:4). Do not worry about your present circumstances, there is still hope for a tree that is cut down, you will take root again and be mighty.
The last few days have taught me how good God has been to me. I was sick and could barely get by, but God sustained me. What about you? Have you not been sick and in His goodness God healed? Have you not been in some financial crisis that the Lord came to rescue you?
If you sit and enumerate all that the Lord had done for you, you will be amazed at how good the Lord is. You will see His everlasting mercy speaking for you in the place of judgment, and His truth forming your shield and buckler against the wicked one.
Think about God’s goodness over your family, your children, parents, and friends. Only God deserve the praise. The fact that He has kept you alive is proof that better days are coming.
Oh that you rise to praise the Lord this morning. At the least please magnify the Lord with me and let us exalt His name, for He is a good God.
REFLECTION
All the gods of the heathen are mere idols, only our God is worthy of all praise. God is good.
PRAYER
Father, thank you for your good upon my life and family.
