MESSAGE
Those who preach the gospel are wise because they turn many away from the path of destruction to eternal life. Many who have caught the vision of God have come to realize that even a soul won into the Kingdom of God is worth it.
A great eternal reward awaits them because they fulfilled the heartbeat of God.
Those who are wise shall shine Like the brightness of the firmament, And those who turn many to righteousness Like the stars forever and ever.
(Daniel 12:3 NKJV)
God has found many vessels of honour from the Bible times even to our modern-day who gave themselves wholly to His service. Those men and women are not Angels, they are not necessarily so gifted and talented but they are children who knew their Father’s will and are willing to lay their lives to do it.
Every prayer unprayed for the lost, every moment of refusal to share the testimony of Christ, and every chance missed to hand out a tract are all disappointment to heaven. Are you doing the will of your Father in heaven?
Think of Paul and His many labours to seeing many turned Christ, all the persecutions he went through, all the personal challenges and how through it all he was rejoicing (2 Corinthians 6:10). How beautiful are the feet of this saint of God who left no stone unturned when it comes to the preaching of the gospel?
Except someone goes to tell the many people sitting in darkness about Jesus the light of the world, they will drown in eternal darkness. How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?
(Romans 10:14 NKJV)
Every believer is called to pray, go and, give to the cause of world evangelism. How much time do you spend praying for the lost around you and in the world? Are you preparing to go to the unreached people to share your faith with them? Are you committed to seeing that people around you hear the gospel? How much of your resources do you specifically give for missions?
We will all not be the same in heaven, although grace is free, the eternal reward is not. Our attitudes must change, we must begin to act less in our interest and more in the interest of God’s kingdom (Matthew 6:33).
Philip went to Samaria with the message of Christ and there was joy in that city. There are many people like the Samaritans waiting to hear the Gospel. They live in darkness and have no joy, will you go to them.
Those who share the gospel, no matter how unfit they think of themselves are men and women with beautiful feet. Are your feet beautiful?
REFLECTION
We have very limited time on earth, our goal must be that we bring others with us to heaven. You are saved to save others.
PRAYER
Father, please give me a vision for the world and grant me the strength to do more for world evangelism.
