MESSAGE
One of the many signs of the end times is the increase in the rate at which people sin. Jesus foretold that sin and iniquity will abound in the end times. We see right in our faces how sinful practices have gained great approval both in the world and in the church.
Sinful and unrighteous agendas a being put forward by governments of nations and many are drinking sin as water without any thought about eternity. We live in a time when people are not afraid to sin and practice unrighteousness.
Who would think that homosexual practice will gain the acceptance of the church, but it is already happening. Churches are now joining homosexuals whose lifestyle God hates. How do we describe our days beyond sinful and decaying? These are indeed the end times (Read Romans 1:18-32).
The Bible further told us that many children will be disobedient to their parents in the last days. We see many open rebellions and disobedience playing out in the lives of our children. How many children do you see obeying elders today? They are rather disrespectful. Christian parents must train up their children in the fear of God. They are learning so many bad things in this internet-driven world and you must guide them away from wrong content.
In our further reading, we have a long list of practices that will dominate the end times. They include pride, covetousness, high-mindedness, betrayal and many more.
With the alarming rate of sexual perversion, abortion, greed for money, and many other sinful practices. We can be sure that we are at the end of time. Let us be ready and prepared for the coming of the Lord.
REFLECTION
But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.
Matthew 24:37 NKJV
With many living carelessly and not mindful of the coming of the Lord, we who are saved must be watchful and be getting ready because at any time the Bridegroom will come.
PRAYER
Father, Please keep my feet from falling into the sin of these end times.
