Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.

MESSAGE
The joy in the hearts of many has ceased and their dance turned into mourning, but the word of the Lord to you today is that all those things that have caused you sorrow for years will be taken away in Jesus’s Name. Instead of sorrow, you will begin to experience joy again.
It does not matter how hopeless or discouraging your situation may look, God’s promise to you is that your situation will be turned around for good. The word of God says in Isaiah 61:3 that Christ came To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”

Have you lost something or someone, is your health failing, is it about a wayward child, financial distress, troubled marriage or whatever may be causing you sorrow? You can take everything to Jesus who became sorrowful so that He can bear all our sorrows and grieves, and He will ultimately destroy every sorrow in your life.
Jabez was classic evidence that God will visit you today and change your story. The Bible described him as honourable, but before then Jabez had a lot of sorrow. When he called on the God of Israel his sorrow was turned to joy and honour.
Beloved, you can also cry to Him today, He will answer you and turn your mourning into dancing. He will also gird you with gladness (Psalms 30:11). So cheer up, God will do it for you too and your joy will come in the morning.
It will not be long before you go about telling everyone how good God has been to you. But you must be sure that sin is not the cause of your sorrow because the Bible says that sin brings reproach to a people. Examine your life carefully to determine if sin is the cause of your sorrow. You must confess and forsake those sins and ask God to wash you in the blood of Jesus.
If you do this honestly and with faith in your heart you will soon be singing and jumping and praising God.
REFLECTION
Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.

God can turn all your sorrow into joy. Why not hand over everything to Him now?
PRAYER
Father, I drop every one of my worries and troubles at your feet, please turn my sorrow into joy and give me a lasting testimony. Amen.
