Judges 5:5 KJV
MESSAGE
Mountains represent impossibility in a man’s life, but when such a mountain is brought before God, they are crushed. The Bible says that when God steps down, mountains melt at His presence. This shows that when you invite the God of all possibilities into the issues of your life, He will melt away those problems (Isaiah 64:1-3).
It does not matter how big that problem may be, God’s assurance is that the mountains will be levelled. In Zechariah 4:7, God said, Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.
Our God specializes in doing the impossible and He is still in the business today. When Israel got to Jericho, there stood before them an insurmountable wall. This was a barrier between them and the promised land. Jericho must fall or there is no way to Canaan Land.
In Joshua chapter 6 we saw the Lord God of all flesh step in and Jericho’s wall was history. At the shout of the people of God, the wall came crashing down. Will you allow God to fight your battles? Stop struggling, and hand over the problems to God. He is the one with the best strategy to win for you and bring all mountains down before you.
If you are thinking that God crushing your mountains of impossibility is enough, listen to what He said He will do with you. Behold, I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth: thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and shalt make the hills as chaff. Isaiah 41:15 KJV
What this means is that God will also be using you as an instrument in His hands to make the impossible possible. He will through you level mountains of problems in people’s life. This implies that you will not only be blessed by God but He will turn your life into a blessing.
Why not surrender your all to this God who is the mountain crusher and specialist in making the impossible possible? The choice is yours.
REFLECTION
Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain.
Isaiah 40:4 KJV
God’s promises have been laid before you today, will you avail them by bringing those impossible situations to Jesus.
PRAYER
Father, please let every impossible mountain of problems and difficulties in my life be destroyed today.
