Turn us again, O God, And cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.

Psalms 80:3 KJV

MESSAGE

Have you ever been on fire for God and zealous for the things of God but suddenly you have grown weary and lukewarm? Can you point to a time in your life when you study the Bible and prays for hours but now you lack stints? If you are such a fellow, then you need revival.

What it means is that your spiritual fire, hunger and thirst have gone out. You need to cry to God for an awakening. This must be a plea with great agony knowing that you have lost something valuable that only God can restore to you.

Your life and ministry will be worthless if you are operating under old stale testimonies of the past. If you can no longer win souls or cast out demons as you used to do, then you are dying and need to cry to God.

Some of you could once be anointed to preach or sing but now you are just a shadow – you need revival. The cry of the psalmist should be your plea on this day. Wilt thou not revive us again: That thy people may rejoice in thee? Shew us thy mercy, O LORD, And grant us thy salvation. Psalm 85:6‭-‬7 KJV

Do not die a shadow, cry to God to quicken you again. It’s dangerous to have a reputation of being alive when you are dead in the real sense. Heaven is calling to you today saying: Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.
Revelation 3:2 KJV

God does not delight in the fall of any of His children, so He is calling you to wake out of sleep and start afresh with Him. He is able to restore the lost glory and make the glory of your latter end surpass the former.

REFLECTION

So will not we go back from thee: Quicken us, and we will call upon thy name.

Psalms 80:18 KJV

You have been diagnosed, now it’s time to pray. Your condition is dead dry, yet your dry bones shall live again in Jesus’ name. Amen.

PRAYER

Father, please revive me again.
