MESSAGE

The business of the dead is to bury the dead, but those who are alive in Christ are bid to follow Him in bringing other souls into the kingdom (Luke 9:59-60).
Your living will only be purposeful in the agenda of heaven if you are setting forward the kingdom’s values.

When a soul is saved, that fellow wants to go tell everyone about it. Saved souls are great soul winners at conversation. That was what happened to the madman of Gadarenes in Mark 5. Immediately after he got saved, He went all out to tell everyone.

Do you notice that the same is true for you when you got saved? Do you remember how you used to desire other souls to be saved and your passionate preaching? If this flame and passion have gone out, you can be sure that you need a fresh touch.

Let no one deceive you, there is nothing normal about firebrand Christianity. If it is cold it is dying and if it is lukewarm it is worse. A lukewarm Christian life will only attract divine judgement. The Lord said to the believers in Laodecia, “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. Revelation 3:15‭-‬16 NKJV

It is time to cry to God to set you ablaze again. It is time to plead with God for a fresh ignition of fire for evangelism. That old passion for the lost must be restored. No matter how dry you are spiritually, God is able to revive you again.

Our text and reading of the day show that God is still very much interested in bringing dry bones to life and He will bring back you again to the place of passion and victory. God is ready to do it again, are you? Souls are waiting to hear the gospel, don’t keep them waiting.

Repent and ask God to set you ablaze again today.

After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.

Ask the Lord to revive your passion for souls again and go all the way to bring abiding fruits into the kingdom of God.

Father, please revive my passion for souls again.
