MESSAGE

People may reject Jesus, and religious persons may gang up against Him, but He is still the Son whom the Father approves.
And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

The Bible says in our reading of the day that the kings and the rulers of the earth as simply wasting their time ganging up against Christ – they will soon be destroyed if they don’t back out. In the days of Jesus, many people tried to crush Him and His ministry but those men amounted to nothing.

This is still happening today. Many are still against the Lord. Some of them are ignorant and others are radicalised. What these people do not know is that Jesus cannot be defeated.  He is the first and so far the only ultimate champion who defeated death and hell. As it is written: Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 1 Corinthians 15:54‭-‬55 KJV

Jesus cannot be ignored, He is the chief cornerstone. Though in His life, many rejected Him, but today, He is the resurrected Lord who has the keys of death and hell. He is the one who also has the keys of the kingdom of heaven.

Those who will truly go to heaven must go through Him (John 14:6). This is because there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Acts 4:12 KJV . There is no further argument, Jesus died for you, stop ignoring or rejecting His love because there is no other way or name by which you can be saved but by Him.

Dear reader, if you are not saved or are unsure about your salvation, call on Jesus today and you will be adopted into the family of God.

REFLECTION

Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; and are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone.

Ephesians 2:19-20 KJV

Obtain the citizenship of heaven today by accepting Jesus as your love and saviour. If you are already saved, keep working your relationship with Him daily by studying the word of God, praying and engaging in other spiritual duties.

PRAYER

Lord Jesus, please be the cornerstone of my life from today.
