MESSAGE
One thing we must never forget is the fact that God loves us and He means the best for all in all situations. Just as a good Father with perfect foreknowledge He tried to guide us away from danger.
Our myopic nature however does block our perception of His dealings. Yet if God loves you, He will check you and discipline you. The Bible says that such corrective discipline by God is proof of our sonship (Hebrews 12:6-11).
Look through all the commandments that God has given in His word, they are all for man. They are designed to help us live the best possible lives free of troubles. I have often told people that when God ask people not to engage in pre and extra-marital affairs or other sexual perversions, it is in our interest.
God is not affected by STDs or STIs, so it is for men to be preserved. If you are a young person and you feel otherwise, you will soon wreck your life. The Bible described a man or woman engaged in sexual immorality as one heaping fire into his bosom.
In our further reading of the day, the Lord Jesus told us that merely looking at a woman with lust is adultery. This would make anyone staring in front of a pornographic film guilty.
Chastity is God’s moral standard and commandment, and it must be obeyed. The Bible calls your body the temple of God and warns that if you defile this temple, God will destroy you. There is another important warning to those who engage in premarital sex: Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge. Hebrews 13:4 KJV
If you don’t want God’s judgment to fall upon your life, you must keep your body pure. However, if you have desecrated your body or marital vows, there is room for repentance. You can still make your way right before God. Go to the Lord today repentant and confessing your fault and He would abundantly pardon.
REFLECTION
But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: He that doeth it destroyeth his own soul.

Ask the Lord to help you head every of His instruction and to stay away from every sexual temptation that the enemy may put in my path in life.
PRAYER
Father, please deliver everyone who is currently bound by sexual perversion and prevent me from falling into its trap.
