MESSAGE

In a world filled with toil and snares, only Christ can provide succor and support to those who are going through the hardest times of their lives. The present economic challenges in the world certainly have a great impact on the condition of living of many families, but we know that our God is more than enough – He is Jehova Jireh.

The Bible says that even though young lions lack and suffer hunger, we who put our trust in the Lord will not lack anything good (Psalms 34:10). This must be your confidence that God will take care of you. The Lord reminded us that we are better than a sparrow and God will take good care of us.

“Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. Matthew 10:31 NKJV”
He will not allow anything to go wrong in your life; and when you go through the challenges of life, He will preserve you.

We must however remain steadfast and immovable in our faith in the Lord. Whatever you are going through, you must always remember that God is working all things together for your good. You must not allow any of those situations to drive you away from your commitment and love for God.

Always remember whom you have believed and be persuaded with Paul that God will keep everything that you have committed into His hands. He will not allow your feet to be moved – just rest in the Lord and He will come through for you.

Are you weak and heavy-laden, cumbered with a load of care? Jesus knows your every weakness, take it all to Him in prayer. Will you heed the invitation of the Lord today? He is asking you to come with your loads of care. Stop carrying your burdens yourself, let Him lift them for you.

Here’s a final encouragement from the word of God:
Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” Hebrews 13:5‭-‬6 NKJV

Every challenge facing you is nothing compared to the glory reserved for you, therefore be encouraged in the Lord.

REFLECTION

And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God.

1 Samuel 30:6 KJV

Beloved be encouraged, God is on your side. No matter the challenges, you can be sure that God will work all things together for your good.

PRAYER

Father, I put my trust in you. I am encouraged by your promises in Jesus’ name. Amen.
