Isaiah 11:2 NKJV
MESSAGE
For anyone to enjoy this year that person must begin with God. Such must especially engage the Holy Spirit who has been working from the beginning. The Bible says that the Holy Spirit will guide and lead God’s children into all truth.
You can’t afford to go without Him. You don’t know the way this year, He is your best light for the year. If you make Him your partner He will lead you in the best path (Psalms 32:8).
The Bible says that the Spirit of God will give you liberty from every oppression this year. Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
II Corinthians 3:17 NKJV. Should you walk in bondage when you can be free? Be intentional about allowing the Holy Spirit to go with you this year.
We have spoken extensively about the presence of God going with us this year. That presence is the Holy Spirit giving us peace amid the storm. But you must be careful never to grieve or hurt Him. You must obey Him to enjoy Him.
According to our text of the day, the Holy Spirit will give you wisdom, knowledge understanding, might, counsel, and fear of the Lord that you needed to go through the year successfully.
Even if the enemy comes in as a flood, God’s Spirit will raise His standard against Him (Isaiah 59:19). No weapon of the enemy formed against you can ever prosper. Finally, the Holy Spirit upon you will cause you to begin to do exploit for God (Isaiah 61:1-4).
Going with God’s Spirit must be a priority for this year.
REFLECTION
For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.
1 Corinthians 2:11 NKJV
To walk in divine revelation that brings elevation this year, you must engage the Holy Spirit. Let Him lead while you follow and you will never lack His grace.
PRAYER
Father, please fill me specially with your Holy Spirit this year.
