MESSAGE

In this series, we will be considering why Jesus Christ is worth thanking. Every creature deserves to thank Jesus irrespective of religion, ethnicity, or social class. This is because the Bible says that all things are made by Him, including you.

The Bible also says that all things are made by Jesus and for Him. Our text of the day says Jesus was the Word from the beginning and that nothing was made without Him. In Him we all have life (Genesis 1:3).

In Hebrews 11:3, the Bible says that by faith we know that this present world was framed by the word of God I.e Jesus. If Jesus did not make the earth, there will be no where for you to stay. Think about the harmony with which everything works, this was all the result of the creative power of Christ.

Even today, He is still holding the world by the word of His power.

“who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high. ” Hebrews 1:3 NKJV

As a believer, you have a bigger reason to thank Jesus. This is because you now have the light of life in you. You no are no longer walking in darkness, you now shine the light of Christ into the world of so many.

Thank Jesus for giving you life, thank Him much more for giving you eternal life.

REFLECTION

For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen.
