Why Thank Jesus 5?

Text: Galatians 3:13-14 NKJV

Further Reading: Galations 3:10-14

Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Galatians 3:13-14 NKJV

MESSAGE

Sin brought a curse upon the entire human race. All men of all ages were living under this dangerous consequence of sin and sinful practices of men. Even when God promised not to curse the ground for the man anymore in Genesis 8:21-22, other curses placed on man and woman remained.

Thank God because Jesus bought us deliverance from these curses, including all the curses of the law. Our text of the day says Christ redeemed every saved soul from the curse of the law and gave us blessings instead of curses.

The Bible established that Jesus did this for you by wiping out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.
Colossians 2:14 NKJV

What you now have is the blessing of Abraham, which was the blessing that Adam lost. Praise God!

“blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies. In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.”
Genesis 22:17‭-‬18 NKJV”

You are no longer under a curse, you have been redeemed by His blood. No matter what curse operates in your family, you must take God’s word to Him that you have been redeemed by Jesus from every curse of the law and you will experience total deliverance.

Should you then not thank the Lord Jesus for this great mercy? Would you not give Him all thanks for turning curses into blessings for you? Friends, this is a big deal and you must thank Jesus because you are no longer in bondage but have come into a life of freedom.

Thank You, Jesus!

REFLECTION

I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing.

Thank Jesus for turning curses into blessings.
