MESSAGE
In this world of power, it is either you have the power of Christ or the power of the devil. The good news is that the believer has power I’m the name of Jesus. The Bible says that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Philippians 2:10-11 NKJV
Jesus said, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Matthew 28:18 NKJV. He also said the glory which You gave Me I have given them. John 17:22 NKJV. By implication all that God has given to Christ, He has also given to us.
Jesus also promised to every believer that they will do the very works (Miracles, signs, and wonders) that Jesus did, and even greater works (John 14:12). The authority that Christ gave us over demons and powers of darkness is worth thanking Jesus for.
The word of God said, Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:19 NKJV
Have you thanked God for giving you the power to thread over the power of the enemies? Have you thanked Jesus for keeping you from every power of the enemies? Have you thanked Him for the ability to heal the sick, cast out devils, and perform great signs and wonders in His name?
Never take for granted this privilege that Christ has given you to dominate the power of darkness and not dominated, to suppress the activities of the devil instead of being oppressed by him. Thank Jesus for this victory that He has given to you.
REFLECTION
Jesus gave us the authority over demons and the powers of darkness. He made us victors and not victims, therefore we ought to thank Him.
PRAYER
Thank you Jesus for giving me power over all the forces of darkness and the devil.
