MESSAGE
The greats hope of the believer is that Jesus is coming back to take us to heaven. He has promised and He won’t fail to keep to His promise. He is not only preparing an inheritance for us, but He will also come back to take us to our glorious mansions. What a day that would be.
Even though we do not know what we will look like when He comes to take us, we know that we will have a glorious body.
Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.
I John 3:2 NKJV
We also know that our departure to glory will be in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. I Corinthians 15:52-53 NKJV
What a glorious day that would be, when all pain and suffering are finally brought to an end, and we the saints of God finally come into our rest. All these blessings are possible because of Jesus who came to earth and died for us, and through the power of resurrection promised to come and take us home. Should we not thank Him?
Jesus is coming again friends. He is coming for you and me. He is coming to put an end to all our toils and give us our rewards. Without this hope, then our labour is vain, but thanks be to God because we know He is faithful to keep His words.
For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. I Thessalonians 4:16-17 NKJV
Thank Jesus because He is coming back again. Then God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” Revelation 21:4 NKJV. Praise God!
REFLECTION
