MESSAGE
God gives the power to make wealth. Anyone who will make true riches must dig into the mystery of divine prosperity as written in the Bible and diligently pursue it. One of major pathway to success as described in the Bible is diligence.
The Bible says, Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before kings; He will not stand before unknown men. Proverbs 22:29 NKJV. You must begin to pursue excellence in your career or chosen field to become successful. The law of diligence puts any man who digs into his career in the place of success.
How diligent are you at your work or business? Are your hands slack? If they are, the Bible says that you will become poor but the hand of the diligent will make him rich (Proverbs 10:4). It is not enough to pray, fast, study the Bible to become successful, you must work harder. You must keep digging until you master you trade.
If you don’t want to be under financial tribute, then you cannot afford to be slothful. The Bible further says, The hand of the diligent will rule, But the lazy man will be put to forced labor. Proverbs 12:24 NKJV
Stop complaining of financial stagnation if you are not a diligent in your chosen field. God will not be diligent for you, it is your responsibility to excel in your chosen field of endeavor.
The Lord Jesus gave us the pattern to follow even in our text and reading of the day. Jesus said, my Father is working, I am also working (John 5:17). Take a cue from the example of the Master and shake off every form of slotfullness off your life.
If you must succeed you must dig deeper than others in your field. Laziness has no place at the top.
REFLECTION
The soul of a lazy man desires, and has nothing; But the soul of the diligent shall be made rich.
Proverbs 13:4 NKJV
Don’t put your financial or business failure on the devil if you are not diligent. Prayers without God-guided hardwork will lead you to frustration. Therefore work while it is yet day because the time is coming when no man can work.
PRAYER
Father, I receive godly insight to diligently pursue the right opportunities that will lead to success.
