MESSAGE
In a time and age when the truth is hard to come by, the soldier of Christ must take up the weapon of truth to deliver men from the lies of the devil. The Bible speaks about the end time as the time when there would be lies and lying wonders. There are many preachers and false prophets out there spewing all kinds of lies and deceiving the people. As a soldier of Christ, you are called to take up the banner of truth and fly it everywhere you go.
Only truth sets free, that’s why Jesus our Captain is the way the truth, and life (John 14:16). Think about all the lies in the world today about gender and sexual orientation, nothing but the truth of the word of God can deliver our generation. Soldiers of Christ must continue to echo the fact that God made people male and female, God made humans straight and not gay.
Notice the cowardice even in many pulpits and churches today to speak the truth about who a woman is. You must guard your loins with truth. As bitter as truth is, lie is worse. Truth sets free but lie enslaves. Jesus said you will know the truth and the truth will make you free (John 8:32).
As someone who has experienced the truth, you must publish the truth and let others know the truth that Jesus saves, heals, delivers, and keeps till the end.
God is looking for men and women who will stand for truth in a world of deception and lies. He is looking out for young people who will stand for truth in their schools by shunning exam malpractice. The Lord is looking for believers who will be truthful in their business dealings and so on.
Notice that the weapon of truth is an offensive weapon. Truth must return to our public space again. Not only are there too many lies in the land, but the enemy also attempts to get the believer to the truth he or she knows. This calls for high alertness and sensitivity to say the truth always.
You must therefore make up your mind as a good soldier of Christ, truth is your primary weapon to attack the lies of satan. The truth in God’s word must be preached. You must also engage the Spirit of truth while dealing with people and in your everyday life.
REFLECTION
Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all the day.

Truth leads to the best life, therefore, always ask God to teach and lead you in His truth.
PRAYER
Father, please help me to know the truth and practice the truth always.
