MESSAGE
Today, there is a lot of mockery going on around the world about Christ and the Christian faith. Many faithful believers have had to endure shame for their Master’s sake just as the Lord had predicted. It is our prayer that God will grant such believers the courage and faith to be true witnesses for Christ.
Our text of the day says that in the last days, there will be scoffers saying, where is the Jesus you claim will come? They will attempt to rule out the truth about the coming of the Lord. Many would even call it a myth while claiming that many generations earlier have said the same.
But the Bible says that God is not slow or slack concerning the promise of Christ’s return, He is only delaying so that many more will be saved. Whenever anyone confronts you about Christ’s return, you can boldly tell that fellow that Christ has not come so that he or she can also be saved.
In 1 Timothy 2:4, the Bible showed us the heart of God who desires to have all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. God is still waiting for many terrorists, drug addicts, the rejects of this world, and many more to come to the light before the coming of Christ.
Where are you dear reader, are you in Christ or simply playing religion? It is only those who received Christ that have the power to be called God’s children. They are the ones who will be captured when Christ appears in His glory.
Friends, Jesus will come soon but God is waiting for many more to be saved. As believers, you should also go out there as children of Light to bring other Christ. Many are still groping in darkness, they need to hear the message of Christ, go and win them over before they go into ageless eternity without God.
REFLECTION
Jesus will come as a flash of light, but He is waiting for others to join the train to heaven. Are you part of the saints ready to go at the sound of the trumpet.
PRAYER
Lord Jesus, as you are saving people, please don’t leave my family out. Also, help me remain you till you come. Amen.
