MESSAGE

Miracles are for the works of God to be seen while testimony is the declaration of God’s work in the life of His people. Many times God allows a situation to persist in the life of His children so that He can work a great miracle. Believers must know that not all problems originate from the devil. It may simply be for God’s Glory.

In our reading of the day, the Bible showed us the life picture of a man who was born blind not because of his sins or his parents but that God should be glorified. Once this man got his healing, he began telling others about Jesus the healer.

God wants your life to be a pointer to Christ by giving you that miracle. Unless you share it publicly, you may be hindering others who would have received the love and grace of Christ from doing so. Our God is intentional about every event and He does mighty works to proclaim His name in the earth.

Another reason why you should share your testimony is that it seals your victory. In Revelation 12:11, the word of God says:
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.
Revelation 12:11 NKJV

To better understand this mystery, consider the young David declaring his testimony of victory over the lion and the beer before confronting the giant. By so doing, David overcame Goliath by the word of his testimony. David maintains permanent victory by sharing his testimony.

Note that testimony makes a believer a champion and not a victim. Those who will continue to overcome must always be willing to share the goodness of God with others. How often to share the testimony of God’s faithfulness with others? Are you grateful that He saved your soul at all? The man in our reading of the day can teach us that it is spiritual blindness not to share one’s testimony. Allow the word of God to liberate you today.

REFLECTION

And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord who has enabled me, because He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry, although I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an insolent man; but I obtained mercy because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

1 Timothy 1:12-13 NKJV

Share with someone how Jesus saved you today.

PRAYER
