You are the God who does wonders; You have declared Your strength among the peoples.

MESSAGE

Whenever someone does something incredible, people would usually remark “Wonderful”. People have done great things and boasted about them in the past and even now. But even amidst the wonderful things humans have invented or created, nothing comes close to what our God has done.

One of the names of God is wonderful. In Isaiah 9:14 the Bible says, For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 9:6 NKJV

Look around you and see the wonders of God. The Psalmist says that the heavens declare glory and the firmament proclaims his hand works (Psalms 19:1).

David further said while admiring the wonders of God, O Lord, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth, Who have set Your glory above the heavens!
Psalms 8:1 NKJV. In the later part of that scripture, the word of God described man as nothing yet God is mindful of us.

Have you wondered about the amazing nature around you and best still we humans His masterpiece? Only a wonderful God can do such wonderful things. Do you know that He has not stopped doing wonders and He can do it in your life today? Everywhere you look in scripture you will see His wonders. He healed the wick, raised the dead, and did many mighty works.

To cap it all, God does not only want to do wonderful things in your life but also through your life (John 14:12). Anyone who surrenders His life to Jesus will experience the wonder of His mercy and pardon and will become a vessel unto honor.

Have you received God’s wonderful offer of salvation? If not you must accept it today and now.

REFLECTION

Many, O Lord my God, are Your wonderful works Which You have done; And Your thoughts toward us Cannot be recounted to You in order; If I would declare and speak of them, They are more than can be numbered.

Psalms 40:5 NKJV

Meditate on the wonderful things God has done for you and thank Him.

PRAYER

Thank you Father for all your wonders in my life.
