Malachi 3:10 NKJV

MESSAGE

When we give, the Bible says it will be given to us back. The law of sowing is unbroken because it was established by covenant. God said as far as the earth remains, the time of sowing reaping will not cease (Genesis 8:22). Also, the harvest will be determined by what is sown.

Christians must understand that in the kingdom, God wants us to give to His work. He being the source of our blessing deserve a token of it to be used for his work. Part of those means by which God needs us to further His work on earth is through free will offering (Deuteronomy 16:10).

The most popular kingdom investment standard is the payment of tithe which is ten percent of your income or profit on a particular business. Some people say that the payment of tithe is from the old testament so it’s not relevant. But when we follow the principle which is to ensure the progressive growth of God’s work, we will be rewarded.

According to our reading of the day, many are robbers, they find it difficult to give back one out of ten that God has given them. What such people don’t know is that they are robbing themselves. That scripture says, “Can a man rob God? (Malachi 3:8)”. Invariably, God is saying, whether you pay your tithe or not it does not change Me, you are the one who is cheating yourself from receiving bigger blessings.

Those who have faithfully followed the principle of tithing will tell you the blessings they have received. God said He will rebuke devourers for our sakes. Note that the money you refused to give to God will be spent for the devil. If you notice that you keep making money but you end up spending it on sickness, problems and so on, you can check if it is not caused by your non-payment of your tithe and offering.

Those who faithfully invest in God’s work never lack God’s blessing.

REFLECTION

But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.

2 Corinthians 9:6 NKJV

Begin to invest in kingdom business and God’s blessing will follow you.
