I am a debtor both to Greeks and to barbarians, both to wise and to unwise.

Romans 1:14 NKJV

MESSAGE

When Christ came to pay our debt of sin, He did not because we were good people but because He loved us. It was an outright sacrifice to face our death even when do not deserve to live (Romans 5:8). Christ became our perfect model and just as He has set an example for us, so must every believer live.

Everyone one of us who has been saved by grace must know that God wants us to show others the way to Christ. We are saved to save others is the truth that must always be with us. If God does not need us here to bring others to Himself, He would have called us to heaven the very moment we gave our lives to Christ. But that’s not how it is, we are kept alive so that we can help others come to Jesus.

Paul the Apostle knew this very truth. It was his life motto and ambition to preach the gospel to as many as possible. Paul declared that he is a debtor to all men. What Paul meant was that it does not matter the color of skin, gender, or beliefs, everyone deserves to hear the gospel.

In plain language, Paul declared that he owed everyone the gospel message. Such is the attitude God wants us to have. The attitude of wanting to share the gospel with everyone we meet. We know that it is true the power of ghe gospel is that people are transformed, therefore, we must not hold back from sharing with them about Jesus the Savior of the world.

Do you know that you owe your children, neighbors, and people in your community the gospel message that can change them? How are you taking this? Do you consider paying for this debt as long as you can? To let you know, this payment is not a one of thing, you must keep paying whatever price to see that others come to Jesus.

God is counting on you on this great mission to bring many people out of the darkness. Though this responsibility of sharing the gospel is a choice, you must make sure you don’t miss any soul. Don’t forget this word of Jesus:

You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.
John 15:16 NKJV

REFLECTION

For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for necessity is laid upon me; yes, woe is me if I do not preach the gospel!

1 Corinthians 9:16 NKJV

What are you going to do about the many souls around you who need to hear the gospel? Will you leave them to die without knowing Jesus?

PRAYER

Father, please help me to reach out more to the people around me with the gospel.
