Joel 2:25 NKJV

MESSAGE

In a time when many people live in serious hopelessness, nothing could be more refreshing than the message of hope that Christ comes to give. Many families are in dire need of Christ to step in and help them.

Believers must echo this message in their communities both in words and deeds. We must encourage people to believe again in the God of restoration. Who can argue about the deadly impact that the last pandemic has on people across all boards. Many have given up and lost the strength to continue.

These are the people whom the Lord was referring as the brokenhearted, and He has come to heal and bind their broken heart.

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed”
Luke 4:18 NKJV

What many today needs is Jesus who brings restoration. Our text and reading of the day clearly show that God will bring back lost years and give double for shame. Do not give up or quiet because there is still hope for you.

Society might have written you off but God has not given up on you. He will show up for you in due time and your testimony will be certain. Only stay on God and your help will come speedily. I trust in God for your spiritual, economic, marital, and other forms of recovery as God restores all thing and makes them new. Behold, He makes all things new.

REFLECTION

“For there is hope for a tree, If it is cut down, that it will sprout again, And that its tender shoots will not cease.

Job 14:7 NKJV

Even if you are your lowest point in your life, God can restore your hope and confidence back in Him. Your end has not come, you must keep hoping.

PRAYER

Father, please open my eyes and that of other people to see the restoration that awaits us. Amen
