MESSAGE
The biggest storm that can hit anyone is the loss of loved ones. The pain and grief that comes with is beyond what words can tell. Many times the devil throws this storm at families to question God’s integrity and faithfulness.
The story of Lazarus is one way to look at this storm. The enemy wanted to wreck the faith of this family but the intervention of Jesys the storm stiller. Can you imagine what the lives of this family would have looked like if the Lord did not restore Lazarus?
Thank God Jesus is the resurrection and the life and He can bring to life that which is dead (Read John 11:1-44). The devastation of Jairus whose family was hit by a storm of death is to show you that without Jesus the enemy does not mind touching even children (Matthew 9:23-26).
In our text of the day, we saw how Satan who had already done some initial damage by snatching this widow’s husband came to finally destroy her. It was as if the enemy would not stop at anything until this woman is finished. Thank God Jesus showed up for her.
This shows the enemy loves this particular storm of death and he has various methods to achieving this. He may come after your business to kill it, he may come after your career to kill, he may come after your source of joy and kill it. That is the end game of satan. These storms would try your faith but you can trust Jesus to speak to it.
In all the highlighted cases we saw that Jesus has the power to restore life even to the dead person and situations. It does not matter how dead that business or marriage may seem, you can take it to Jesus and you can be sure that you’d receive your dead Job, marriage, business, or ministry back alive.
Jesus is still in the business of giving life and stilling the storms of death in whichever way or form. Even that health condition that has led to the death of your body part can be reversed if only you trust Jesus to restore you.
Call Him now because whosoever shall call upon His name will be delivered (Romans 10:13).
REFLECTION
But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Believers are victorious over death both in time and eternity. Even if satan sends the storm of death into marriage, business, career, or whatsoever, Jesus will still that storm and give you the victory.
PRAYER
Father, please give me victory over every storm threatening to take my life and destroy all you have given me.
