MESSAGE
You will be amazed how much God can do through you only if you will desire more. When you look at a man like Paul, you will understand that God can do not through ordinary vessels like us.
Paul though a late comer and the chiefest of sinners according to him, Paul became the chiefest Apostle. He came behind to overtake the rest of the Apostles. But what is the secrete to the success of this man? It was his hunger and desire for more of God.
Paul knew everything for him is at stake. He had left everything to now become a follower of Christ. Paul could have become the head of the Sanhendrin but now according to him, he is now a filth and dirt of this world.
Paul was so passionate and desirous of Jesus such that he is willing to spend and be spent for the Gospel. In our text of the day, Paul considered himself a person of great if he would not preach the gospel. Though no one was paying him, yet this man out-worked, out-laboured, out-wrote, out-prayed, out preached every other Apostle.
No notable miracle was missing from the ministry of this great man of God, because he was always desiring more of God. In Philippians 3:10, he confessed that even if it means death, he would love to know more of Christ.
No wonder Paul became so great in stature and anointing. For Paul not even death would separate him from the love of God, how can such man not be great? Friend, God can do the same with you if you will also commit yourself to Christ as Paul did.
REFLECTION
Paul became so great that he gained huge recognition in hell. You can also, attain such height if only you will like Paul desire more of God.
PRAYER
Father, please help me to be committed to you just as Paul was so that I can experience more of you. Amen.
