So it was, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle and went out and stood in the entrance of the cave. Suddenly a voice came to him, and said, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”

MESSAGE

Have you been faced with an impossible task and you have been told you will never be able to do it? Are currently faced with what looks humanly impossible to achieve? Is there a mountain standing between you and your desired goal in life? When all the voices of men, circumstances, and events seem to pull you down, you can stand resolute in God’s word that says you can.

Philippians 4:19 says that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. Also, the Book of Ephesians 3:20 says that God can do for you exceedingly and abundantly beyond what you can ever ask or think.

Beloved, you must understand that what will matter in the end is who you choose to listen to. The noise may be loud, and the turbulence nerve-wracking but the still voice of the Lord brings peace. Never forget that Jesus is the prince of peace and in his voice certainly will calm every storm in your life.

If you allow your current situation to speak to you and make you act recklessly then you can be sure you will have the consequence waiting for you. In the end, the opinion of Doctors and experts won’t solve many problems when in dire situations. Not even the whining and pity of friends and family but God’s word.

He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions.
Psalms 107:20 NKJV

This provision is however for God’s children. Those who are yet to accept Christ’s redemptive offers to humanity will always find themselves short in their most difficult hour of testing. Have you renounced your sins and accepted Christ? If you have, then you need not worry about anything with a guarantee that the God of peace will take care of the situation and grant you His peace. Amen.

REFLECTION

This is my comfort in my affliction, For Your word has given me life.

Psalms 119:50 NKJV

In afflictions, God’s word gives life. Those who pay attention to the voice of His word in their hour of need will find His living water powers upon them to refresh their soul.
