1 Corinthians 1:30 NKJV
MESSAGE
The wisdom of man is absolute foolishness in the sight of God. When men claim to be wise, they become foolish instead. Only the wisdom of God is pure and perfect. Everything the world through wisdom has done has led to futility.
The Bible recorded that the world through their carnal sensual wisdom could not understand what God was doing when He sent Jesus into the world. So, they resolve to kill Him. This singular act annuls all the wisdom of the greatest of thinkers. Because through the death of Christ, we who believed are made God’s children.
Christ is the wisdom of God. but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.
I Corinthians 1:24 NKJV
Believers must learn to begin to rely on the wisdom of God which is Christ Jesus. And as always, the ways of Christ do not often make sense but it is always the perfect and best. This is where a personal intimacy with God is essential.
In case you lack this divine wisdom, the Bible says you can ask. Christ in you is the hope of glory. He is also rich in wisdom.
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
James 1:5 NKJV
You do not have to go the way of the multitude. Learn through the study of the word of God and quiet meditation in prayers the pure, true, and undiluted wisdom of God. No Christian should be void of wisdom because Christ has been made our wisdom.
If you are born again, you have Christ in you, and through you, He will be expressing great wisdom in every area of your life. Trust God for divine wisdom for your academics, job, career, business, family, ministry, etc. He will not deny you if you ask in faith.
REFLECTION
But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.
James 3:17 NKJV
In Christ is true wisdom. Trust in Him and He will make you wise and help you in making wise decisions.
PRAYER
Father, please give me Your wisdom that is in Christ in Jesus’ name.
