MESSAGE
Mountain climbers are holy people. A sinning man stops praying while a praying man stops sinning. What mountain experiences do to us is expose our weaknesses to us. We see ourselves for who we really are. In the presence of God, there is no pretense. We are overwhelmed by His love and also we see our impotence. It is at this place of intimacy where you cry to God,
“Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, And I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, The Lord of hosts.”
Isaiah 6:5 NKJV
The good news is that He won’t leave us as we are but He will purify us by His fire. In Malachi 3:3, the Bible recorded that Christ will purify us with fire so that we can offer to God our offering in righteousness.
Every form of deliverance can be obtained when you climb with the Lord to be with Him. He knows how do deal with whatever struggles you may be battling with. He, Himself will see to it that the matter is well taken care of.
After all, He did it for Isaiah, He can and will do it for you too. Are you having a specific of having a specific assignment and you felt inadequate to do it? He has all the enablement if you will dare climb the mountain and stay with Him in prayer.
Once God cleansse you, He can then commission you for His work. Are you ready for great things in God’s kingdom? Then you must begin to climb up to meet Him in the place of prayer.
REFLECTION
It’s time to take God’s promises and purpose for your life seriously, therefore, you must go to Him to cleanse and commission you into your life work. It is not a one-off thing but a constant going to Him until He releases you.
PRAYER
Father, please cleanse as I come to your presence daily. Also, commission me by Yourself so that I can fulfill my purpose.
