MESSAGE

If God calls out to you today asking a similar question He asked Adam, what will your answer be?

Are you still in the presence of the Lord or have wandered away from the place of your altar. Have you departed from the living God to follow your own dreams and ambitions?

This is a question you must also ask yourself, ‘Where am I?’. Have you left your first love for the peripheral pleasures of this uncertain world? (Revelation 2:4-5).

What is it that has separated you from the love of Christ whom you so much love? Has tribulation, hunger, famine, persecution, present things of this world, family and the affairs of life? (Romans 8:35-39).

Have you touched the unclean things and joined yourself to idols? Beloved where are you?

Do you remember the time when fellowship with God used to be desirable and beautiful? Do you still love to dwell in His presence? Are you eager to hear His voice and read His words?

Where are you? Hiding in the bush far away from the presence of God? Where can you hide from Him? Even if you go to the depth of Hell, He is there? (Psalms 139:7-9)

Has sin severed a once beautiful relationship you had with your Maker? Has secret sin driven you away from His presence and disconnected you from his favour and fulness joy that accompanies His presence. (Psalms 16:11)

Has the altar been broken down? Are you like the prodigal who is now so far away from his father? Your Father is calling you today, Where are you?

He wants to restore that broken relationship, he wants to help you rebuild that broken altar. Stop hiding, come out and let Him clean you from every filth in your life. After all, He is your father, He loves you still. The Blood of Jesus has been shed and His grace is sufficient to bring you back. (1 John 2:1-2).

This is the day to return, the day to go back to your father, He is waiting for you with arms open wide. Your place is still in the house. (Luke 15:20)

Do not allow fear to keep you from returning, no matter how far you have gone, His mercy endures forever. He will be merciful to clothe you with His love and presence.

REFLECTION

Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

Psalms 51:12

This is a day to cry to God for mercy and restoration. Ask Him to flood you with the joy of your early days and walk with him.

PRAYER

Father, Please let your grace find me today and restore unto me the joy of your salvation.
