MESSAGE
Sometimes when a person is serving God or following the Lord, it may look as if there is if there is no gain. Such may begin to be anxious, fearful, and doubtful because of the situations surrounding him.
Hope indeed differed causes weariness to the soul, yet the saint must not forget that our God is faithful and true. He is not a man that He should lie, whatever He has promised, that will He do.
In Malachi chapter 3:14, the Bible told us what some Saint said probably after a long period of waiting. They must have gotten wearied.
Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts?
Malachi 3:14 KJV
May God continue to strengthen His people who are weary and tired in Jesus’ Name. Abraham in our text of the day also asked God a similar question. It was like God, I have left my father’s land for this strange land, yet I have no son, what then will you give me? These may be your own question as well, you might have served God wholeheartedly and yet nothing is breaking forth in your life.
Do not be weary, God does not owe a man, whatever you have sown you will reap. He has said in Isaiah 45:19, I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.
Isaiah 45:19 KJV
Those secret services rendered to God will be rewarded one day openly and you will be celebrated. Are you thinking about quitting because things are not working the way you anticipated? Nothing you do for God is in vain. He will reward all your years, old on, He is almost here and do not lose hope. Jesus will come through for us. Amen.
REFLECTION
Whatever service you do for God, do it wholeheartedly. Before long He will show up to bless you beyond your expectations.
PRAYER
Father, please help to be faithful in my service to you and don’t let me be weary of well-doing.
