MESSAGE

At times it looks as if God has forsaken His people and forgotten his promise to His beloved children. But we know that God works all situations for the good of His saints who loved Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).

Apart from the fact that He has not called you to seek Him in vain, He has also promised never to leave nor forsake you. Therefore, no matter how difficult your present situation is, God has not forgotten you.

In our text and reading of the day, the Bible told us that even though we may feel forsaken and abandoned, God has us before Him continually and He can never forget us. Men may forget you, but He will never forget you.

Why then is there so much delay in your life and it’s as if what He promised will never be fulfilled? Why are you making little or slow progress when your mates seem to be way ahead? It is because what God has planned for you is bigger and the bigger the vision the longer it takes before it is fulfilled.

Take the case of Joseph as an example, though he had a great dream at a young age, he had to wait for years before he fulfilled that dream. That vision of yours is for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie, though it tarry: wait for it because it will surely come, it will not tarry (Habakkuk 2:3).

God can give you all those things you think you have lost in a day just as he did for Joseph. So don’t panic, don’t worry, and allow God to indeed work out His purpose in your life.

Stop grumbling or complaining, the Lord has not forgotten you, He is preparing something greater than your dream for you. But you must allow Him, don’t stop God from accomplishing his purpose in your life by going outside of His will and purpose.

REFLECTION

Hath God forgotten to be gracious? Hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah.

Psalms 77:9 KJV

God has not forgotten you, He will be gracious and fulfil all His good plans for your life because His mercy endures forever.

PRAYER

Father, thank you for reassuring me of your presence in my life and that you have me in mind. Please bring to pass all your promises for me.
