Positive Attitude

Text: Isaiah 3:10-11 KJV

Further Reading: 1 Kings 4:18-37

Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him.

Isaiah 3:10-11 KJV

MESSAGE

One of the biggest concerns I have is pastors and church leaders telling sinners that it is well with them. I know that such a statement is not true because the Bible says in our text of the day says it will be well with the righteous but unto the wicked, it shall not be well.

Automatically those living in sin are under a curse because there is no blessing for the wicked. Therefore I charge you to reassess your life now and check if you have been made righteous by the blood of Jesus. Are you born again? If yes, then it shall be well with you.

But what happens when you are saved and all is not going well? How do you claim the promise that is already yours? The answer is faith – your absolute trust in the written word of God. A positive attitude in the face of the ugliest crisis ends up bringing great testimony.

In our reading of the day, we saw how the positive attitude of the Shunamite woman led to the raising of her dead son back to life. Even when the child is dead, she said to her husband, all is well. All she needed to do was to run to the man of God, she was not going to accept defeat and all was well in the end.

Are you at your wit’s end or in a tight corner and it seems that there is no way out? Rather than allow worry and fear to dominate your heart, declare to your life that all is well and it shall be so. There is great power in your tongue, it is the power of life and death, and the power of the tongue can heal and wound at the same time (Proverbs 18:21; James 3:5-6). Therefore you must learn to practically apply your tongue positively in all situations.

No matter how tight the situation you are facing is, I declare to you that it shall be well with you in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Don’t forget however that this prayer will only work for those who are saved. If you are not born again, you need to ask God to have mercy on you and save your soul today.

REFLECTION

For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: Happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.

Psalms 128:2 KJV

Declare into your life today that it shall be well with you and your family.

PRAYER

Father, please let it be well with me and my family in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
