MESSAGE
Jesus is not in league with any other religion’s gods. He is the word from the beginning, the light to this darkened world. Men may reject Him but cannot deny His power and authority.
In the early stages of His ministry, many were astonished by His power and authority. Here’s how the Bible puts it, “And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out” Luke 4:36 KJV.
Throughout the Bible, we see His power to heal the sick, cast out devils, perform special miracles, and even raise the dead, yet Jesus is the same as He was yesterday, and today, and will be the same forever (Hebrews 13:8).
That is why He remains the cornerstone and the solid rock. He can do the impossible in your life as He has always done. Jesus is the name above every name and all power in heavens and earth has been given to Him.
No one can contest His power – anyone who does so will be playing with fire. Our text of the day says that anyone who falls on him will break but, upon whosoever this cornerstone falls, that fellow will be crushed into powder.
It will be in anyone’s best interest to come to Jesus for help and not make Him an enemy. Don’t forget that He is the consuming fire and He will consume His foes. Therefore I urge you to come to Jesus today and allow Him to fix the broken piece of your life.
One piece of advice the Bible gave to people in power and authority is to submit to Christ or else they perish on the way. Don’t join the camp of people who are set to perish because they rejected Christ, rather accept His love and you will have eternal life.
REFLECTION
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Do you believe in Jesus? To avoid eternal condemnation, everyone must accept the love of God through Jesus. He is the only way, the solid rock upon which true salvation is built.
PRAYERd
Father, please open my eyes and that of other people to see the true worth of Christ the Cornerstone.
