MESSAGE
Christians must always remember that God has not called us unto uncleanness but to holiness. He has chosen us to live in this corrupt world a testament to the sanctifying power of the Blood of Jesus.
As far as God is concerned, you are to live a holy life. Christians are not supposed to be like the unbelievers, they are God’s holy people whom he has sanctified unto Himself. The charge to us is to come out of the world and touch not the unclean things, and God will receive us.
Since without holiness, no one can see the Lord, the privilege given to you to live holy in this world is also a privilege to see God in the end. Why then do you feel inferior and envy sinful men? Don’t you know that they will soon be cut off (Psalms 34:16)?
In Deuteronomy 7:6, the Bible says, “you are a holy people to the Lord your God; the Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth.
Deuteronomy 7:6 NKJV
Because of your status as a child of God, you must let your life be an emblem of the Holy nature of God. As God who has called you is holy, you are also called to live in all manner of conversation (Peter 1:1:15-16).
Anytime you see any Christian practicing sin, such doesn’t know who he is and what God has in plan for him. Therefore I urge you to begin to desire a holy life and also see to it that others also come to this same reality.
You must never join the popular opinion that Christians can be a habitual sinners and still remain a sinner. God has provided a clear path to victory and the first is to genuinely repent of every known and unknown sin. You must deal with that sin or else it will deal with you.
Those who have not received Christ must do so today and Jesus will save your soul.
You have many that do not have so cherish it very well.
REFLECTION
Set the pace for other Christian about the possibility of holiness that God has willed to us.
