MESSAGE
Everywhere you look today there is darkness. This is a very dark time in human history as we see men turning themselves to become women and people losing their minds over perverse sexual orientation and pronouns. Only the light of Christ can brighten this world of darkness as our Lord Himself is the light of the world.
The Lord referring to you in our text of the day calls you a light to this dark world. Therefore you must yield the command to arise and shine, you must radiate the glory of the Lord in all the nations (Isaiah 60:1).
To be a light in this dark world, the believer must be different. He must come out of the corrupt world and be separate without touching the unclean things of his generation. The Christian can not be engrossed with worldly fashion or befriend the world.
He must not conform to this world and its immoral ways but the Christian who will stand as true light must be transformed continually by the renewing of his mind through the power of the word and prayer (Romans 12:1-2).
God needs believers who will stand for Him in this crooked and perverse generation, that is why He chose you. You are to radiate the light of Christ. You are to be light in your workplace, local assembly, and community.
Another thing you must know as a light career is that demons, sickness, and disease are darkness, and you must cast them out. You have been given the authority to shine the light on Jesus into every life and bring deliverance to those who are oppressed by the devil. Beloved here is the final appeal to you:
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

REFLECTION
And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
John 1:5 NKJV
Jesus Christ chose you to shine as a light, how far are you shining? Are you truly subduing darkness or being subdued by it? Think about this!
PRAYER
Father, please help me to keep shining as a light for you in this generation.
