So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one.

Ezekiel 22:30 NKJV

MESSAGE

God’s eyes run to and fro the earth looking for a man with whom He brings His counsel on earth to pass. Since prayer changes situations, God searches for a man of prayer. This is the man with whose life heaven brings down the reign of darkness.

With many bound sins and demons, God is in search of a man who will stand in the gap and make up an edge so that men would not be destroyed. You will agree with me that w live in a generation far more sinful than Sodom, yet we lack men of Abraham’s stature who will stand in the gap for a sinful nation. Are you such a man for this hour of crisis?

Heaven lacks such men and there is a great lamentation this: He saw that there was no man, And wondered that there was no intercessor; Therefore His own arm brought salvation for Him; And His righteousness, it sustained Him. Isaiah 59:16 NKJV

Beloved the power of darkness has become so bold in our generation and only a man of prayer can dislodge them. The Bible says that Prophet Elijah was a man like you and I but with an extraordinary prayer life. With Elijah, God was able to bring revival back to Israel.

The church as we see it today is now being occupied by false prophets and sinful psychologists playing on people’s intelligence, and only revival can restore things. God is looking for men like Nehemiah who will carry the burden of the Lord in the place of prayer and liberate those who otherwise would have died.

There is a search for a man to pray because there is a God who is willing to answer. Unfortunately many are too busy today, they would do everything except pray. Will you avail yourself of the noble ministry of prayer or you will walk away unconcerned? Make a choice today.

REFLECTION

Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving;

Desire to be a man of prayer and consciously live a prayer-saturated life whether you are at home, your workplace, in a business meeting, or any engagement.
