MESSAGE
Scripture says that to him who knows how to do good but refuses, it is sin. Many people often fail to share their testimony because they probably think it’s not necessary or they have other excuses. Such a habit should not be found in the life of a child of God.
Sharing your testimony is a sign of gratitude to God. You are saying, Lord, I admit it’s not by my ability or spirituality that I have gotten this help but by your grace. Sincerely when you show your gratitude sincerely for what God has done for you, you are like that one leper who came back to thank the Lord and got a double blessing.
Another great benefit of sharing your testimony is that it brings others to Christ. I’m our text and reading of the day, the madman of Gadarene became an instant evangelist who went about bringing others to Christ.
God wants you to tell others about the great things Jesus had done for you. The woman at the well of Samaria in John 4, also became an evangelist. Through her many people came to see Christ and later believed in Him as the Messiah.
Jesus said in Matthew 28:19-20 that you should be His witness, this command can also be obeyed when you share your testimony. Have you been delivered from certain problems, share testimony. Through it, some other persons can also get their time testimony. Remember that faith comes by hearing the word of God. Also, your testimony can encourage someone and most of his or her faith to get the same miracles.
Stop holding back, share with others the good thing which the Lord has done for you today.
REFLECTION
Your testimony can bring someone to God today, start sharing it.
