MESSAGE
Every child of God holds are privileged people, they have special access to His blessings, favor, and Himself. The Bible says that we are no longer slaves who need to fear when we approach Him, but we can boldly call Him Father (Romans 8:15). This position makes us valuable and people of substance.
Though we are valuable before God, we must see ourselves as God see us. Until a believer sees himself in the light with which God sees him, such will continue to live below his or her value. The Bible says that until we mature and realize our true identity will not be different from slaves.
“Now I say that the heir, as long as he is a child, does not differ at all from a slave, though he is master of all”
Galatians 4:1 NKJV
Do you know that God called you a specially chosen people, royalty, and priest of God (1 Peter 2:9)? God intends that you be a solution to the world, a light to a darkened world, and salt to a tasteless generation (Matthew 5:13, 14). Unfortunately, many Christians who suppose to show the light of Christ are now being dominated by the forces of darkness.
Our Bible reading of the day shows the behavioral pattern of such a person. It is a life of anxiety about things they don’t have when the Bible says all things are theirs. Rather than being people of value, they allow fear and worries to cripple their minds, and make them useless.
However, there is a reminder for such individuals today, “You are valuable”. God values your life more than that of birds and grasses. All you need to do is seek first the kingdom of God and all his righteousness, then God will give you every other thing.
Whatever you desire in life is in Christ Jesus. The Bible assured us that because God did not withhold Christ from us, He will also not withhold anything from us (Romans 8:32). Begin to live as God wants you from today and you will be a solution to your world.
REFLECTION
Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
Galatians 4:7 NKJV
Your status before God makes you valuable. God is your Father and you have access to both heavenly and earthly resources. Tap into them from today and begin to live as God wants you to.
PRAYER
Father, thank you for the privilege to be your child. Help me to begin to manifest in the fullness of your glory in Jesus’ name. Amen.
