MESSAGE
The corruption in this present age is nothing to be taken lightly. You can hardly look around without seeing one form of filth and filthy behavior. This trending wickedness was predicted by Jesus as one of the signs of the end times.
And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.
Matthew 24:12 NKJV
How do you explain the child mutilation going on in the Western nation in the name of trangederism? Can it be anything other than lawlessness? While this trend is going on, you can not deny the increasing number of filthy songs and films broadcasted on the airwaves every second on TV and social media platforms.
Here is where the call for separation is important. Since we can not leave the world, we must make a deliberate decision to stay from the filth of this world. We must consciously guard our eyes, ears, and minds against getting soiled by sin and corruption.
Let me say, this, Christians must come out of the world a different people. We must live in this world and not allow the world and its value to influence us in any way. This is because worldly influence makes us God’s enemies.
The call to separation is a call to be like Christ in holiness and submission to the will of God (1 Peter 1:15-16). That a behavior or lifestyle is acceptable, fashionable, and popular in the world does not mean we also can adopt it.
From fashion to entertainment, and other social norms, Christians must set a standard of holiness, purity, and grace. Are you separate from the world? Do you not feed your eyes, ears, and minds with the same filth as the world? You must make a clear stand to come out today.
REFLECTION
While we remain in this world, let us trust God for the grace to live the life of Christ without fail.
PRAYER
Father, please help me to live the life of Christ daily. Keep me from the pollution of this present world.
