Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.

MESSAGE

God as always has reserved a special blessing for His people this year. There are loads of goodies that He is willing to give. What many people forget to understand is that God doesn’t spend money nor does He eat food. All these things are reserved for those who will follow Him closely.

He said,
‘The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,’ says the Lord of hosts. Haggai 2:8 NKJV

In plain English, money is not His problem. When Jesus needed money, all He had to do was ask Peter to get it at the Fish ATM.

In essence, God wants to bless you with all these things, but approach matters. One of the ways to receive God’s blessing this year is thanksgiving. According to our text of the day, thanksgiving will give you access to His gate and praise will take you straight into His court.

That access will now allow you to ask anything you want and He will give you. A grateful attitude will never lack God’s blessings. David knew this secrete, that is why He said in Psalms 34:1 that he will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. Psalms 34:1 NKJV

Even at night, David said He will rise to give thanks unto God.
At midnight I will rise to give thanks to You, Because of Your righteous judgments. Psalms 119:62 NKJV

No one has ever been victorious because of their complaints but praise has unlocked several closed heaven. This year you face Jerichos and mountains, only confront them with Thanksgiving. Sing Psalms and songs of praise unto God who can bring down all the high mountains in your life.

REFLECTION

It is good to give thanks to the Lord, And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High;

Psalms 92:1 NKJV
