MESSAGE

The statement pride goeth before fall is not just a Biblical truth but the reality of life. If a man wants to quickly fall from a position of authority or lofty height, let that fellow begin to lift his shoulder against God. One of the greatest secrete of rising in life is humility, but we have learned that those who take the high road of pride always find themselves in trouble.

To be proud is to be taken after the devil. The result of a proud life is obviously the same as that of the devil when he was cast down from heaven.

“How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations!
Isaiah 14:12 NKJV

Our reading of the word of God showed us how pride can make a great man fall to grass Uzziah with all his accomplishments died a leper because he would not humble himself but was filled with pride. Friends, never allow your accomplishments to get into your head, rather stay humble.

Be grateful for what God has done for you and He will continuously lift you up. For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”
Luke 14:11 NKJV

Are you humble or you are full of pride? Proud people are only planning to fall big. I say to you “Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.”
James 4:10 NKJV
