MESSAGE
The troubles in society today can be directly linked to failure in modern family life. With fathers absconding and leaving their families behind, many untrained or rather unfathered have become the menace of society.
The devil knows what many people don’t know today, and that’s why he kept on attacking the family. That’s why he creating institutions that will devalue the true essence of marriage and family. That’s why we have the mess we have today.
Never forget that life is in cycles, and it takes a responsible father to raise a responsible son or daughter. It is that simple. But what happens when Fathers refuse to take responsibility? You can be sure that the future of the next generation will be bleak.
In Genesis 1:27, when God made Man, He gave Man the mandate and blessings. God gave the first man the authority to subdue and be in charge. It was Adams’s role to care for Eve and bring her into God’s divine purpose, but he failed.
Where was Adam when Eve was talking with the devil? That was the first error Man. He was not there to protect his wife and shield her from the enemy’s attack. Therefore, by divine ordinance, God desires that Fathers are responsible for the spiritual, physical, and emotional stability of their wives and children.
Are you that kind of a Father? Are you a priest in your home? Are you a protective shield for your family as Job was? Or you are just passive anyhow father? Fathers who do not keep a protective eye over their families will lose them in the end.
That costly error of the first man in Eden is still a big deal even today in the world. You can not afford to create any further problems. This is the time for fathers to rise and take their place again as the head of the homes and raise their families in the fear of God. The time is now.
REFLECTION
In those days they shall say no more: ‘The fathers have eaten sour grapes, And the children’s teeth are set on edge.’
Jeremiah 31:29 NKJV
This is the time for the Fathers to rise, it is the time for men to take responsibility and stand for their families to correct the errors of the past generation. This only can be done when our Father returns to Christ.
