MESSAGE
One of the ways God described Moses was by his faithfulness.
My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house. Numbers 12:7 KJV
This shows that God placed great priority on faithfulness. It is not how much talent or opportunity you have, but how faithful you are to what God has given you. How faithful are you in your duty to God? How faithful are you in your calling? God will not reward you based on your talent but by faithfulness.
Jesus said He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. Luke 16:10 KJV. In our text and reading of the day, Jesus gave the parable of the talents.
Those servants are rewarded not by how much talent they have but by what they do with it. By the standard of heaven, Christians will be rewarded for how faithful they are in God’s house. Are you faithful? Do you give your best to what God has called you into?
The Lord says that if you have not been faithful in that which is another man’s, who shall give you that which is your own?
Luke 16:12 KJV. What this means is that you should not expect divine blessings if you are not committed to God’s work.
No matter what position you hold in your church or what you are called to do, please do it with all your might. The Bible says that whatever your hand finds to do, please do it to God’s glory.
REFLECTION
Have you been faithful over little things? Then, you can expect God to bring you into eternal joy.
PRAYER
Father, help me to be faithful in all that I do from today.
